About Brotherhood In The Middle East & Beyond

Brotherhood is a major Islamic theme and one that brings people together as brothers and sisters. Prevalent in the Middle East and beyond, societies such as Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India all are filled with it, treating each other kindly and respectfully. It is not only Muslims who have this brotherhood, but it is shared with their christian and jewish neighbors and all people of different backgrounds.

This group is to chronicle the evidence of Brotherhood between all people in the Middle East and beyond, In Islam and amongst Muslims and Non Muslims too, from all backgrounds across the world. I hope we can bring people together on Flickr especially Muslim brothers to unite with this mindset.

All peoples are welcome to join. What images have you seen that show and represent brotherhood across the world and in Islam?

RULES:
The photos should be centered around brothers only. However Sisters are most welcome to contribute their photos of male subjects and become members.

The photos should have more than one male subject, unless a photo of only one male subject has an interesting story of brotherhood behind it. If some photos haven't been accepted, its only because they haven't fitted what is meant to appear in the group, for example photos with female subjects, or photos with only one person in it. Unless the photo with the singular person has a relevant story of brotherhood around it.
