About Brooklyn Strobist

If you're a Strobist, live in CROOKLYN (or are within traveling distance of) and want to meet up regularly for photographic brilliance of the Strobist nature, then this group is for you.

I'm Rhys, and I've created this group because although there are other meetups in and near the city, I'd like to do a more regular meetup and host after-gatherings at my Park Slope digs (with roof terrace and a deck with a grill! Yes, I'll grill.) and maybe take turns doing so or at least gathering at some cool pubs in the area. I'd like to come up with a schedule, with input from everyone, once there's some membership in this group. Once a schedule is made, I'll post it here.

As for the rules for the online group, for now, same Strobist.com group rules apply. (Taken from David Hobby, Strobist guru.) At meetups, there are no rules. In fact, let's break them all and do whatever we want! (Just kidding.)

So, join up! Beginners, experts, in-between... let's do this thing.
