About Brooklyn Community Gardens
Brooklyn has more community gardens than the rest of New York City! This group is for photos of, from, or about community gardens and gardeners in Brooklyn.
For the purposes of this group, a "community garden" is any piece of land gardened by a group of people, as defined by the American Community Garden Association. Therefore, a garden need not be officially recognized as a community garden by GreenThumb, Brooklyn GreenBridge, or other agencies. It must be a community garden - gardened by a group of people - and not a private garden.
All contributions should be "safe" as defined by Flickr.
