Think ‘British recreational gardening’. This is a forum where British gardeners can share images of their personal gardens, and a place where beginner gardeners can visually learn.

Please don’t post images of National Trust gardens, famous parks, or botanical gardens in this pool. There are groups on Flickr that do cater for these images, so please share them there instead.

Pictures of allotments, window-boxes, containers, roof-gardens, balcony gardens etc are very welcome, but keep it British in this group. If you do spot a wonderful garden from another country in another group, by all means direct people to see it there.

Please don’t post too many pics at one time (say, not more than 5 images in one go). You can always ask people to visit your photostream if they want to see additional pictures of your garden. Or simply post a few more images here at a later stage.

Keeping in mind the variability in British weather conditions across the UK, please let people know which British region your garden is in (i.e. Scottish Highlands; East Anglia etc).

Have fun. I'm looking forward to seeing what other people are doing.
