About Britain and Eire in Japan (things to have, places to go)
Found a Marmite in a posh supermarket in Tokyo?
Had a perfect pint at an Irish pub in Osaka?
Your local Peacock supermarket has got the Waitrose cup-a-soup?
Watching "Little Britain" on Wowwow?
... Jolly good, this group is for you.
Food, booze, books and literature, film and TV, music, football ...
Anything British and Irish found in Japan,
pictured with context - preferably visible in the picture (price tags etc)
or otherwise in the description, tags and title.
Share what you have found with others and make them happy.
Any nationality is welcome. Make it international.
Almost everything is welcome, but
no self portraits and no tourist portraits of you, your friend and/or somebody.
I mean, no silly faces or forced smiles. This is because
1) such pictures seldom make others happy
2) it's too predictable for them to flood our group pool out.
Your administrator is a Japanese who speaks English, hasn't got a Wowwow set and is too lazy to take pictures these days.
Also, please be advised that the adm is as good and reliable as the London Underground and can go off-line for months without any prior notice. Sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you for your cooperation.
[IMPORTANT]
PLEASE DON'T POST Engrish items here.
("Engrish" is funny and strangely broken English seen in Japan and other countries.)
There is a lovely group for it.
