About Bristol flickL
The host group on flickr for Bristol flickL exhibitions and activities, in the real world and online.
About flickL:
Website = flickL.org
Twitter = Bristol_flickL
Facebook = Bristol flickL
Why does this group exist?
Bristol flickr'rs have had several opportunities to exhibit their work in recent years. This group exists to:
1) Help 'seed' the development of future exhibitions
2) Provide a resource for future organisers and contributors to locate practical information that might help when it's 'their' turn.
3) Provide access to pages on facebook, twitter etc set up for the ongoing Bristol_flickL massive.
Why flickL?
It's a homage to the traditional Bristol dialect, in which an "L"-sound is added to the end of words that end in a vowel sound. So "idea" becomes "ideal", and "Flickr" becomes "Flickl".
