Cleaning

I have found a few marks on my images than I don't seem to be able to shift with my cleaning kit. Anyone know anywhere/anyone that can professionally clean Digital SLR camera, how much (roughly) does it cost and how long it takes?
Cheers CM

Hi Canis Major hope this helps,I have used Black on White @105 Coldharbour Rd Westbury Park Bristol BS6 7SD Tel- 01179071135 I found them very good I was just passing popped in and asked and they could do it. they said I could pop back in a couple of hours as they were a bit busy and the shop was which I took as a good sign and said it would cost £27.03 inc vat. It was ready for the time they said and I was very pleased with the results......

Canis Major I know several people who have used them for all the reasons Paul has said. They seem to be knowledgeable and prompt.
However, someone who has used it recently got their digi-sensor cleaned, but noticed one or two marks still remaining afterwards. This may be out of character for them for all I know, but after they've done it and before you leave the shop - it might be worth you taking a couple of shots of clear sky or a pale wall, and then using the LCD viewfinder to enlarge and scan the places where the marks you are worried about usually loiter on the image to make sure they have gone.....
I have no idea if this is acceptable practice, but it's a bugger to spend the best part of £30 and realise it's still not clean enough!

Tracy - my brother cleans his sensor quite regularly (he has a Digital Rebel XT) using the Copper Hill method but said recently that he'd noticed one or two marks that he couldn't shift on his pictures. He eventually realised that the marks only happened with one of the lenses he's got - and discovered there was dust trapped between the lens and the filter attached to it. A quick clean, and the marks went away. So it might not be your sensor that needs cleaning!
And I agree - the best way to establish the state of your sensor is to take a shot of the sky at F16 or more. Any specks will stand out.
