About Moderate Images are not 18 + Images.
Recently, Flickr made some sweeping changes to its groups. The pools have been set to accept Safe images only. If the group wanted to accept Moderate images, then the group would automatically be set to over 18 only age restriction.
Flickr's guidelines on filtering are as follows:
* Safe - Content suitable for a global, public audience
* Moderate - If you're not sure whether your content is suitable for a global, public audience but you think that it doesn't need to be restricted per se, this category is for you
* Restricted - This is content you probably wouldn't show to your mum, and definitely shouldn't be seen by kids
By the definition provided by Flickr, Moderate images are not perfect for everyone, but don't need to be restricted. Moderate is the gray area between family friendly images and outright porn. Moderate images can be artistic, challenging, something that stirs the senses, but shouldn't necessarily be locked away from all underage eyes.
With this new definition, Moderate might as well be Restricted. Groups are either safe for everyone, or Moderate/Restricted.
Bring back the Moderate Image filter level as its own level, separate from Restricted. They aren't the same and shouldn't be treated as such.
