About Brighton the City
This group documents the City of Brighton & Hove as it is today, the whole city out to the city limits and perhaps a little beyond. The beach and piers are part of the city. Shoreham is really interesting so it is IN.
This is Brighton & Hove now. Photos of a scene that no longer exists are not OK, the scene must be recognisable today in 2007.
People, animals, birds are OK so long as they a part of the city scene. No portraits, no posing, post those to the Brighton Group. Interiors: Fine so long as they say something about Brighton.
Tag your photos with Brighton (and/or Hove), the name of the District and the Street or Building Name if it is a landmark. To tag a street name enter it in quote marks as “western road” or it will come out as two separate tags. Use road rather than rd etc. Beach and seafront are good tags. Locating your photo on a map is encouraged. All this will help give an accessible archive of the City as it is.
