10 Feb 10 - NEW GROUP! Any Brides out there who paraded in pink? Sashayed in scarlet? Or boldly wore black?
Any Brides-to-be who are thinking of breaking the ivory ceiling? Well here's a place for inspiration and celebration of the joy of bridal colours! -No there's nothing wrong with white and ivory and their likes, but those who want something else sometimes find that difficult to find (depending on what is available in their local area) -and this is for them!
Enjoy!

About Brides Who Didn't JUST Wear White (Or Ivory etc.)
The group is about brides who brought colour to their outfit -OTHER than white, ivory, champagne and other variants (I'm going to refer to all of these henceforth collectively as 'the whites').
A lot of girls have asked me how I was brave enough to choose another colour to get married in. This surprised me somewhat, as I hadn't thought of it as brave. But I do see that it can be difficult for a lot of women, who walk into a dress shop only to get lost in a sea of white satin and ivory silk ('the whites').
I knew I'd seen a lot of great pictures of great brides in great coloured dresses on Flickr, that helped inspire me.
However, I also noticed that I couldn't find a group specifically for this and I thought it might be good to create one and help inspire others with both ideas and confidence that you don't just have to stick to 'the whites'
So to summarise, this is a FRIENDLY group and nothing personal against brides who chose white, ivory, champagne or gold dresses. (I know and love many who did and looked stunning!)
It's just a group for picture that demonstrate brides in other colours (black, red, purple... ...you name it) -post it here!
