About Braille Institute of America Braille Institute is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to eliminate barriers to a fulfilling life caused by blindness and severe sight loss. The Institute provides an environment of hope and encouragement for people who are blind and visually impaired through integrated educational, social and recreational programs and services. This group is open to everyone. All photos submitted should in some way relate to Braille Institute, its events, people and centers.
