Photos of locomotives and multiple units carrying the ubiquitous British Rail blue livery of the 1970s and 80s.

YES PLEASE:

Locomotives in British Rail monastral blue livery with yellow ends or small yellow panels. Early experimental versions of BR blue.

Multiple units in BR plain blue or BR blue & grey livery.

Hauled stock in BR plain blue, BR blue & grey, Red Star blue with red stripe.

NO THANKS:

BR revised/large logo blue
Electric blue

I would prefer pictures to show BR blue rolling stock as it appeared when current, rather than later depot special repaints and stock in preservation. However, if a picture is really good I might let it in anyway ;-)

If in doubt submit it anyway but don't be offended if it doen't appear in the group.
