Bermuda Photography Meet-up Group.

We are a Bermuda based community of picture takers that enjoy learning, sharing and networking around photography. We are not limited to a particular genre of photography. Community Standards
This is a safe community. Ensure your photos are work safe as some of our members may browse from work. If you have something you'd like to share that would not be appropriate for work viewing, just post the (word) link in a discussion thread with a little warning. If you would not leave the photo up on your monitor in an office environment while you head off to lunch, it is probably not appropriate for here. And if your photo is deleted, do not re-insert it.

Specifically: Topless women - even with their hands over their breasts - are better posted in the groups that cater to that. Ditto full nudes, butt-floss bikinis and very suggestive poses.

Be aware that children and people from other cultures view this group, and what may be art in your house might be offensive in someone else’s. Be respectful of that. It is common sense. Please do not push it. Thanks.

Did we mention the 3-a-day limit? Oh, yeah. We did.

Give suggestions for change, feedback, comments or praise about as many photos as you like; the more the merrier! The idea is to learn from each other and share in the successes and opportunities to develop. Feel free to say whether or not you liked a photo; just remember to say why. That’s how we grow. More important than the subject matter is the approach to helping (or being helped by) others. It only takes a few chronic antagonists to ruin a community. Nastiness, name-calling, offensive language, elitism, bullying others into a particular way of thinking, (and other similar activities) degrades the experience and the learning environment for all. Serial antagonists will be warned, and thereafter banned from the group. Read-only status would be retained, but the ability to post to threads or on the photo pool would be lost.

We don’t think this will be a problem. But with lots of people involved, you have to set boundaries.
