About The British Postal Museum & Archive

Photographs taken at any of The British Postal Museum & Archive's locations - the Royal Mail Archive in Clerkenwell, London, the Museum Store in Debden, Essex or the Museum of the Post Office in the Community in Ironbridge, Shropshire - or of BPMA objects and exhibitions on tour.

We won't accept pictures that weren't taken at one of our venues. If you have pictures of pillar boxes, Post Offices, post vans, etc, why not add them to Britain's Postal Heritage.

What is The British Postal Museum & Archive?

British postal services helped to shape the modern world. The British Postal Museum & Archive (BPMA) works to make this human story of communication, industry, and innovation accessible to everyone. We care for the visual, written and physical records of over 400 years of postal development.
