Awesome--y'all rule! What are you shooting?
I have a Gevabox coming in the mail. If it arrives by Wednesday, that's what i'm shooting. If it doesn't arrive, i think i'm going to use my JEM JR. as a fallback. I haven't shot it in ages, and i recently figured out what went wrong when i shot it the first time.
I got an Agfa A8 Cadet (tiny 127 format box) recently which i haven't shot yet, but it doesn't have a T (time) setting, so i can't take the 2 - 8 second exposures which seem to be required by the dim fluorescent lighting at The Corporation. So it'll have to wait...

I think I'll use the Nomad; the February challenge in the Hawkeye group is going to take a roll of serious thought.

OOOH. I should do this too. But, I need to rig up a box to shoot. Just the motivation that I need.
Thanks senorton.

Too bad I don't work on wednesday. I will be at work on Thursday, so, could I have an extension?

I am gonna try to do this, too. I may break out my Kodak Target 620 for the occassion -- somehow a cardborad box camera seems just the thing. Might use the Clack instead, though -- I haven't Clacked in a while...

_some_guy: dude, for you? anything! extension granted. (as if i'm imbued with the power to grant such things--i don't think so!)

I can't decide on a camera. And no light today. Admittedly I have been at work for quite a while.

I'm here with the Spartus and a Brownie Hawkeye! And I finished a roll from the Imperial Mark XII.

They are replacing our carpeting today -- yes the saga continues -- so the whole place is a mess. Nonetheless I am on the job with the Spartus Full-Vue.

I'm gonna take a one-day extension too--I'm a man of leisure on Wednesdays. But it gives me time to find a working box camera.

Well, it's 6:30 pm and high time to be getting out of this place. I have one more shot out of 8 to go on my roll of Acros in the Jem Jr.
The Jem Jr. is a tinny 6 x 9 box from about 1940. It has a T setting (bulb, essentially), but the bottom isn't quite flat so holding it completely still for the (typically) 2 sec exposures, well, i'm expecting some shake :-)
Think i'll take my last shot out in the parking lot in the dark...

I did my part--only a couple frames were worth posting, though it was fun trotting out the decidedly lo-tech Sawyer Nomad among the computer geeks. Montage and worthy pics here.

Hi all -- remember, i said last year in my initial post at the top of this discussion that it would "take me forever to get my shots developed and scanned". And sure enough, i just put them up last night. Because i figure that's the deadline.
Dakgirl--you deleted your shots, even though they turned out better than you thought they would?!
The shots are fun, i like their "workness". (Looks like Rob Cruickshank & i are in related industries.) mhartford's set is hilarious! eyeuno's look positively retro--nice!
For those who shot and forgot to tag, please remember to add "TYBCWD06" to your photos, and then they'll all show up here.
Many thanks to DeborahK for taking up the slack this year!

I had my two photos tagged incorrectly, so I changed the tags to match what you all have. But my two shot are still not showing up with the rest of the group. Oh well, they were very boring, so no great loss.

I took a whole roll but double exposed some and decided not to scan others... so I posted a few of the best to the pool. Fun stuff!
Senortan, your tag link goes to the 2006 group... is that what you intended? Here's the 2007 group: www.flickr.com/groups/boxcamera/pool/tags/TYBCWD07/

S5hiara - - that link is for last years photos. Senorton, who came up with Box Camera at Work Day, is just a little bit behind in his scanning and posting .... :-) Hey, better late than never!
