About Boulder Wildfire January 2009

Please add any photos related to the Boulder Wildfire that started on January 7, 2009. This is the Olde Stage Road Fire and Neva Fire

Motivation for Creating this Flickr Group:
I am an evacuee that lives off of Middle Fork Road north of where the fire has mainly been. I have setup this Flickr group to collect images related to the Boulder Wildfire that started Wed January 7, 2009. My urge to create this group is to help provide updated information using social media (like Flickr, Twitter, Facebook). My current dissertation research explores how people use social media technologies to generate crisis-related heritage at the grassroots level. I have set up this group with me initially being the social organizer but group members are currently known as participants. I hope this group helps facilitate community dialogue about how this crisis is affecting us, our community, and our future based on the present and past history.
