03 Oct 10 - Dear members! Welcome to the pool!
Please remember that photos added to the pool need to have appropriate titles, descriptions and/or tags to describe its botanical features (not just Latin name!), not just be gorgeous photos. Photos not fulfilling this critera will be removed. Members are encouraged to add botanical tags to all photos.
Please make all people feel welcome by commenting on their photos. This group is for all levels, from the simple to the more intricate parts of botany.

About Botanical Morphology and Anatomy

A group for illustrative examples of any plant morphological or anatomical features, from microscopic to macroscopic (not just pretty flower photos). Tag and describe your photos with botanical terms, plant group, Latin names, etc. to help others find specific features. Notes on photos are highly encouraged, as are well-tagged and described photos. Photos without tags, descriptions, relevant titles, or subjects will be removed.

All plant groups are allowed: flowering plants, conifers, mosses, lichens (even if they are partly fungal), algae (incl. plankton, but not non-plant photosynthesizing organisms like Euglena), ferns, clubmosses, cycads, etc.
No fungi - those are not plants and there are other groups for them.

IMPORTANT NOTE - by posting your photos to this group, you will allow others to tag and put notes on them related to botanical anatomy and morphology. If you don't like this, then don't add your photos. See ya!
