About Botanical Art & Naturalist Illustration (Read Before Adding Phot
PLEASE READ BEFORE ADDING PHOTOS:

While our collective work will encompass (and welcome) a wide range of styles and mediums, be mindful of the narrow focus unique to this group: Realism.
Add only four (4) photos per day and only photos of:
1) Botanical Arts - Realistic images, portrayals, and documentation of plants and flowers.
2) Naturalist/Wildlife/Scientific Arts & Illustration: Realistic images of natural science subjects.
3) Field Notes/Journals/Sketchbook Entries - Executed out of doors, in -situ. Pages can include: Rough sketches, scribbles, vignettes, contour drawings, pressed flowers, writings, rubbings, measurements, musings.
4) Photography-Realistic portraits and images of flowers and natural science subjects.
5) Other - Realistic scans, photographic processes, prints, radiographs, digital, transfers, computer aided and generated, etc...inquire about something we need to include here.
Post only those images that fall within the confines of the above guidelines...those most typical to the traditions of the Botanical Arts/Naturalist Illustration.
If you limit your photos to 4 a day, others can have a chance to be featured on the front page.
