This group is for Boppard am Rhein, Germany, photography only (not for Cologne, not for the Loreley). Before sending a picture to this group, please ask yourself two questions:

1. Is it a Boppard picture?

For us a Boppard photo is a photo of Boppard, or near Boppard. Pictures from across the river, from the Hamm and from the Boppard region are also welcome. We do not count Cologne cathedral, or Koblenz fortress photos as Boppard pictures. On the other hand, photos of the Boppard Room of NYC The Cloisters Museum, photos of the world famous Thonet chair, the Thonet burial plot in Vienna etc. are very welcome (see some fine examples in the pool).

2. Be nice and give a description

The city of Boppard am Rhein should be the most important thing in the photo. If the story is not apparent at first sight (to give an example, a photo taken aboard of your vessel) - can you give us a clue? In other words: please add a title, a description, a tag.

If the answer to any of the questions is "no," please do not send the photo to the group as it will be moderated out anyway. Unfitting photos will be deleted. Thank you.

Boppard am Rhein. Dat Schnuggelelsje am Marktplatz. Seinerzeit bei den Kids wegen ihrer Freigiebigkeit in Sachen Süßigkeiten besonders beliebt. Elsje (d.i. Else, Elschen) besaß an dieser Stelle einen kleinen Laden.
