About Body Casting
This is group for pictures of casts taken from parts of the body. Especially face or "death" masks often taken to produce objects in plaster, wax, or bronze. An early expert in this field was Marie Tussaud who took plaster casts of the heads of victims of the guillotine during the French revolution.
