About The Boat House Restaurant on Swartswood Lake

Beginning some time in the 1930’s, the original structure known today as The Boat House Restaurant was built in it’s traditional lake-style form. The first proprietorship to occupy the building was known as the Lotus Landing. The owners provided dining and dancing on Friday and Saturday nights for vacationers traveling to Swartswood Lake. The business changed hands several times throughout the years and it wasn’t until 2006 when current owners Kathy and Ken Snyder took over full deed of the facilities.

Today, The Boat House, after a complete renovation, lends itself to Kathy and Ken’s own creation and while much has changed since the days of Lotus Landing, the rich history and cozy atmosphere remains. Come join us every Tuesday through Sunday from 11am – 9pm and experience the beauty of Swartswood Lake.
