Welcome to Blythe Runway Challenge!!!

How It Works: Each month a new challenge will be posted here. Challenges will mostly require some sewing, although knitting, crocheting, and even hot glue gun are allowed. Each participant must complete their entry by midnight GMT on the final day of the month. Participants are encouraged to post work-in-progress photos of their entries throughout the month. The final challenge will involve a custom doll + outfit. At least one challenge will also involve a charity auction.

Judging & Scoring: A panel of judges will determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, and will award points. Entries are judged on originality of design, technical skill, faithfulness to the challenge, and overall creative process and entertainment factor. Every entry will receive 5 points, to reward those who participate consistently.
1st place - 20 points
2nd place - 15 points
3rd place - 10 points
There will be NO eliminations.
At the end of the final challenge, the participant with the most total points will win the grand prize!

What Do I Win? The Grand Prize will be an assortment of design goodies and Blythe items, as well as a stock doll (to be determined). Plus, of course, you win the fame and the glory!! :)

Who Can Enter? In order to keep the contest manageable, participation is limited to 25 aspiring designers, and participants will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis. (Send me a flickr mail!) Participants will be sent an invitation to join the Blythe Runway Challenge group. Each participant is asked to donate items for the Grand Prize basket. Collaborations are allowed, but teams will be considered as a single participant. Participation in every challenge is not required (we all have busy lives), but each challenge earns points toward the Grand Prize total.
