The term Blue may refer any of a number of similar colors. When blue is a pure color from a single source, it corresponds with a wavelength range of about 440–490 nanometers. Blue is considered to be one of the three primary additive colors in RGB system; blue light has the shortest wavelength range of the three additive primary colors. The English language commonly uses "blue" to refer to any color from navy blue to cyan.
