About Friends of the Blue Hills

Photos depicting the beauty and enjoyment of the Blue Hills Reservation located in eastern Massachusetts. Photos shared with the group will also be displayed on the Friends of the Blue Hills website.

Our group rules:

Thank you for your interest in joining the Friends of the Blue Hills Flickr group! Friends of the Blue Hills is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the Blue Hills Reservation, located in eastern Massachusetts. You do not need to be a member of FBH to join this group. You do however, have to enjoy photographing or viewing the amazing natural and recreational resources of the Blue Hills!

We have a couple of rules for this group, for us and for you:

1) When you post a photo to the group pool, you are agreeing to allow Friends of the Blue Hills to display that photo in a Flickr badge on our website, www.friendsofthebluehills.org. The Flickr badge allows visitors to click on a thumbnail and get a slightly larger version of your photo that links back to your Flickr photo page.

Friends of the Blue Hills claims no ownership of your photos, and you of course retain all copyrights. We may, on occasion, contact you about using one of your excellent photos in a larger capacity on the website, or as part of a poster or other presentation. We thank you for allowing us to show the world your views of what a great resource the Blue Hills Reservation is.

2) Please only post photos that were taken within the Blue Hills Reservation, and tag or caption the photos so that we can easily tell this. Also, please post only family-friendly images!

Because we will be displaying these images on the FBH website, all submitted photos are subject to approval by the group admins. Thus there may be a brief delay between when you submit a photo and when it shows up in the pool.
