About Boston Linux & Unix

Boston Linux & Unix (BLU) is a Linux and Unix user group that meets monthly at MIT in Cambridge, Massashusetts. Our website is at blu.org. Our meetings are open to the public.

BLU was originally started as part of The Boston Computer Society (BCS) in 1994; we held our first meeting in June 1994. When BCS closed down in 1996, we reorganized as an independent group. We're now affiliated with Boston User Groups (BUG; bostonusergroups.com).
