About BloomfestLABloomfestLA invites the community to share photographs of their most memorable experiences spent with friends and family at the festival and in the Downtown Arts District and surrounding areas over the years.  ENTER the 2011 BLOOMFESTLA PHOTO CONTEST! Submit your favorite 2011 BloomfestLA photos here in this group on www.Flickr.com/groups/BloomfestLA -- be sure to tag them as "2011 BloomfestLA Photo Contest" -- and enter to win cool prizes, including hotel stays, dinner certificates, and more from our festival partner, L.A. Canvas (www.lacanvas.com).  To be considered for this year's contest, all photos must be submitted on the BloomfestLA Flickr group page by Friday, August 5, 2011. RULES & REGULATIONS 1) The photo must be taken during BloomfestLA (past or present) and uploaded to this BloomfestLA public Flickr group at www.Flickr.com/groups/BloomfestLA and tagged as "2011 BloomfestLA Photo Contest." 2) Each member can submit up to 10 photos. 3) Each member must indicate where and when the photo was taken, and under which category that the photo should be considered: --BEST MOTION SHOT --BEST CROWD SHOT --BEST FOOD SHOT --BEST BAND SHOT --BEST NEIGHBORHOOD SHOT --BEST HIPSTERS SHOT --BEST EXHIBITORS or SPONSORS SHOT (booth and/or products) --BEST ART SHOT --BEST OVERALL SHOT 4) This contest is open to professional and non-professional photographers. 5) The photo must be your own and not something you found on the Internet. 6) BloomfestLA will select the finalists on Monday, August 8, 2011 and post top entries on its website at www.bloomfestla.com. Public comments will be accepted to assist the judges in choosing the winners. 7) All photographs will remain copyrighted to the photographer. However, by entering the contest, you hereby grant a royalty-free license to BloomfestLA (an entity that includes its organizer LARABA and producing partners EVFA and CauseConnect) for promotional use only, which includes the ability to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display your photographs in association with BloomfestLA through print and electronic media. By submitting work, you also accept that BloomfestLA can crop and alter your images, if needed, to make them suitable for print, display, and/or projection. The winners will be announced by BloomfestLA on its website by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2011. The winner will be notified by a BloomfestLA representative through the contact methods available in the winner's Flickr profile.
