About Art is...
Art is life. Life is art. Submit your photos that are inspired by a work of art from the Blanton's Collection. Photos will reflect what you see in art.
Include a reference to the original work of art that inspired you (title of work, artist, or a link to the work of art in the Blanton Image Gallery).
At least once a month, a photo will be selected and featured on (still getting approval for where I can feature the photo...hopefully it will be on the Blanton Museum web site!!!)
Please note that by submitting a photograph, you are granting The Blanton Museum of Art a non-exclusive (it's your image, after all), single-use license to display the image on its Art is... site and its archives. You also allow the Blanton Museum of Art to store the image on its server, solely for the purpose of the Art is site and its archives. You retain sole copyright over the image, although it would be wonderful if you also licensed the image under the same Creative Commons license we use (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0). If not, we'll let people know that the image is not CC-licensed.
We should also point out that we're not obliged to show every photograph submitted!
