13 May 11 - Let's make this clear: when you post a photo into the group, you must rate and comment on the previous five photos immediately. Not tomorrow, not in a couple of hours. Immediately. If you cannot do that then you must postpone posting your photo into the group.

To be on the safe side, you may also rate and comment beforehand. Just make sure that once you post your photo, the previous five photos all have your ratings and comments and that no one has posted a photo right before you did.

About Rate and Comment: Black and White (READ THE RULES FIRST)

Rate and Comment: Black and White is a group where you can post your black and white photographs and recieve feedback and ratings on them.

1. You must post a picture and then immediately rate the previous five pictures prior to yours.

2. The scores will be out of ten, you must leave constructive criticism to say what you liked or disliked about the picture.

When you make comments please try to think of others, lazy comments and remarks such as 'It doesn't do it for me', 'I don't like ####' or 'It's been done before' will not be tolerated. I want you to rate it technically but also think about the subject.

Copy and paste this to your comment:

From the <b><a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/blackwhiterate/">Rate and Comment:Black and White</a></b> Group, you are given a _/10 ranking.

Which Should then look like this,

From the Rate and Comment:Black and White Group, you are given a _/10 ranking.

3. You must not post another picture until at least five more have been posted since your last one.

Once you have your five scores they will get added up and scored out of fifty.

4. This group is invite-only, but anyone is invited to apply. When applying for the group, leave a message that convinces the administrator that you have read the rules. Candidates applying with messages such as "Oi!", "I'd like to join", "Love your group!", etc. will be rejected. We were forced to adopt this policy after too many people thought that it was optional to follow or in fact to even read any rules.

5. Finally, this should go without saying, but let's be clear: be polite! No rude comments, no harassing, and no revenge scoring. If you get a bad score, you will be grateful and learn from the criticism. Violating any rule may get you or your photo removed from the group.
