About Black Country Pubs

Having seen so many traditional pubs in the area close over the last year, I decided that it is about time we created a photographic record of some of them. Many represent unique architectural features in our area, but they are now fast vanishing.

For the purposes of this group we can regard the term 'Black Country' loosely, please post photographs of pubs from anywhere in the West Midlands if you wish. If you could also post details of their location, and any history that you know of, the photographs will be much more interesting.

Although the aim of the group is to record images of traditional pubs, please feel free to post any images of pubs in our area, even those of former pubs now converted to other uses.

I look forward to seeing your photographs.
