22 Jul 09 - This group is NOT for digital camera or desaturated color film shots. It is for your original black and white FILM work. Do not use another photographer's work. If you submit a digital photo and it is deleted, resubmitting it or any other digital shot will only result in your membership being blocked from the group. Sorry, but there are thousands of pools out there for digital photography. Try to specify film type, chemistry and times, if you can remember, under the photo.

About B&W Film

If you shoot black and white FILM, share your original work here. Do not republish another photographer's work. This group is not for people that desaturate digital shots or color film, or for those who shoot in black and white mode in their digital cameras. "Film" is the stuff we used to shoot before digital cameras were invented. It requires chemistry to develop the image. You may have heard about it. Let us know about your shot, including camera, lens, type of film, processing, or any other story you want to share about the shot. If you post nudity, keep it artful. No pornography, please. Please try to leave comments on the work of others in B&W Film, by typing your normal comments under the photo and then pasting the code at the bottom of this page directly under your comments. This way, others will see our group and will want to join and contribute as well.

Thanks!
Mark
