About Embers / Personal Bookmarking
One person group, something like a journal, on which I write about some of the work I've found on Flickr and on the pages of other Flickr users, and share some of the work I've created that was inspired by what I saw. Some of this will, in some way, have something to do with Burning Man. No, you may not join this group, any more than you could join my blog, but you can subscribe to the discussions, the pool in this group (or both) by e-mail, using Feedburner, and be notified when there is something new to see.
Yes, that's me in the photo. 
This one person group functions as a part of the Embers website, which is mainly written about Burning Man, sometimes (but not always) casting the community which has grown up around the event in an honestly negative light. It's not a fan page, and I don't drink the Koolaid, but I also don't live to hate. I won't shy away from portraying the positive side of the community, either. No, I won't be discussing online drama on this group or on my other pages on Flickr, but there will be a few very solid metaphors to be found in my choice of subject matter and imagery. Follow the group, and I think you'll see what I mean.
