About The Diners Of New York City
Nothing like a nice breakfast of eggs, toast, home fries and a cup off coffee from one of the countless diners here in NYC. Growing up in Jersey, I've always had a strong appreciation for everything about the diner. And well, this town is full of em. Got some great pictures of an abandoned diner in The Bronx? Post it here. Funny shots of your friend passed out at Neptune Diner with menus and napkins placed all over him? Post it here (I've been meaning to do that). The rules are simple:
1. Must be of a diner, inside or out. But it has to be a diner, no cutesy little cafes or eateries. If there's no booths or counter, it ain't a diner.
2. Must be within NY's five boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island and Manhattan. There's some killer diners in Jersey and LI, but they just don't have a home here.
3. In response to Flickr's recent addition of video uploading capabilities, there will be a "Hell No" policy instated here. No videos allowed, save it for YouTube.
