[Update: See new thread for details.]

The sun is out so we should probably have a Flickrmeet thingy.

Last time it was Digbeth. Any ideas on where we should go? (The Jewelry Quarter has been suggested.)

The general idea is to meet somewhere at a specific time, walk around for a couple of hours taking photos and then retire to a pub.

Sunday would be a good day: 16th, 23rd or 30th are the next few.

Who's up for it?

Good idea.
I'd be up for it if I'm around - can't make 23rd or 30th unfortunately (on holiday in Portugal), could probably make 16th

I think a better approach than trying to find the perfect date for everyone (probably impossible) would be to have a monthly or bi-monthly meet and if people want to and can they can show up.

Maybe rotate it around the city and have a "host" pick a pub and promise to be there...

Hi - there's an upcoming.org group for UK Flickr meets too... and a worldwide one.

Can't to do this month but will come to the next one...

srboisvert's idea seems the most sensible say the second sunday of every month, something like that?

I think we're erring towards a consensus.

Second Sunday of every month it is.

14th May
11th June
9th July
13th August
and so on.

We need a time - is 2pm good?

Unless anyone thinks otherwise I reckon we go for The Jewelry Quarter. Anyone know a good place to start?

Sounds good, perhaps by the train/metro station we can kind of go in any direction.
