About Birdy bicycle Berlin World Meeting 2008
This group is set up to share photos of the 3rd Birdy World Meeting that took place in Berlin on june 13-15 in 2008. (You'll find the program on: www.birdy-freunde.de/events/treffen2008/index_en.html )
The first photos in this group were made at the 2nd Birdy Meeting in Darmstadt. They're here just to start off this group. A lot of other pictures, uploaded before june 13, are simply about folding bikes, klapräder, Berlin and Birdy. All unique photos though. We managed to invite the most beautiful photos to be shared.
From june 13 2008 only pictures made during the Birdy Meeting in Berlin were accepted.
We are the administrators: Jan Berkelder and Thomas Wiegold. Basically we had nothing to do with the organisation of this meeting, but we were there as enthousiastic participants. We also stimulate other people to share their photos with us on this pool.
There are a few guidelines for the contributors:
1.
Be interesting. Please only send in photos that are really worthwile to share with other Birdy friends or Folding friends. Please don't upload masses of almost the same pic, or pictures that don't mean a thing.
2.
Adding a description under the photo is very important for the viewers. Tell something about what, where, who and why. Use your own language if you want to. A little extra English would be polite though. Just be interesting.
3. Pictures of technical details are just as welcome as pictures of people. Riding folding bikes is also a social thing. Some people think we are nutters. Well ... we are, and that is an important part of the fun.
4.
We will watch the quality of the pool. We decide if your picture is good enough to be shared in the pool, and we will delete those ones that don't contribute to the quality. Please be aware of that before you send in your photos.
We hope you enjoyed your stay in Berlin and the World Meeting. And if you weren't there, enjoy our photos.
