About Birdlife Jamaica

This group bears the name of a bird club based in Jamaica whose main goal is conservation and increasing the knowledge about Jamaican Birds. This group is a collection of great photos of wild birds of jamaica both residents and migrants alike.

COMMITMENT TO CONSERVATION
Birdlife Jamaica (BLJ) is committed to the conservation of Jamaican birds, both residents and migrants alike. The invited photos to this group do not have to be taken in Jamaica but they must be of birds known to either reside permanently on the island or visit as migrants.

To continue the never ending task of conserving Jamaican birds and their habitats, the staff of Birdlife Jamaica may ask permission for use of any photos posted here for the purpose of public education. The photos may be made into slideshows, brochures or posters for non-profit use only. Permission will be sought from the owners of any photos selected for public education material and due credit will be given.
