About Bird Chat

The primary purpose of this group is chat, conversation, discussion & debate about birds, birding or birdwatching. The intention is for it to be a place where everyone with an interest in wild birds will feel comfortable. It's a place for twitchers, birders, naturalists and those who simply enjoy watching wildlife from their kitchen window.

It is intended that most threads or discussions will be primarily about birds or birding but most birders take an interest in insects and other areas of natural history too. Conversations about butterflies, dragonflies, mammals, reptiles, wild flowers... all are welcome.

This is your group so please feel free to start a new discussion. You may include photographs within the discussion but please keep them small sized unless otherwise agreed.

Photographs may be uploaded to the Group Pool in the normal way but we are starting off with a limit of 3 per day.
