About Bikini Lines Design Contest
Bikini Lines is a contest to create and document the world's largest painting on a remote Pacific Island (!) using the Cactus Dome as a canvas. The Cactus Dome was built to contain the radioactive debris from Bikini & surrounding Atolls (!!). It's a pretty historically significant place. The accompanying documentary we make will be released with 100% of the proceeds (!!!) being donated to the Ashinaga Foundation, which helps children orphaned in natural disasters.
This group was created for artists who want a chance to have their design painted on the Cactus Dome. Seriously. Badass. This is the biggest canvas in history, and it's a mighty awesome canvas. The piece you create will be easily viewable in Google Earth! Entry & posting is free, but we do have a few rules (watermarking, mainly) that are easily explained on our website, www.bikinilines.net
Bikini Lines really is about art, adventure, collaboration and documentation for a great cause, so check out our campaign and upload up to 5 of your awesomest design proposals for a chance to join the adventure of a lifetime!
banksy, eat your heart out :)
