About SFBC Bicycle Quilt 09
We'll use this group to collect photos for the 2009 SFBC Bike Quilt. The quilt will be used as a fundraiser for the SFBC.
The ideal photo will be a high contrast black and white photo that was taken in San Francisco, with an image that relates to bicycling in the city.
Photos will be printed on fabric using a cyanotype process (developed in the sun), similar to blue printing.
See the sequence of sample photos to get an idea of how the photos may appear on fabric.
You may find it useful to convert your photos to black and white to get a better idea of the contrast. We'll be doing some adjusting of the photos in photoshop before printing.
