About Big Things - Kitsch, Strange & Weird Big Tourist Attractions

NOTE - PLEASE READ THE GROUP DESCRIPTION BEFORE ADDING PHOTOS and CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS IN THE POOL to get an idea what we are looking for here.

This group is a place to show photos of those big, three-dimensional, crazy fibre-glass, concrete (or whatever they are made from) things that you usually find on road trips. They are often big animals, big fruit, big people etc.

Some examples would be the Australian ones I know of such as the Big Banana, Big Pineapple, Big Merino, Big Prawn, Big Orange and so on and so forth. Often found at tourist traps or petrol stations along the highways and by-ways.

This doesn't include tall building, big bridges etc. We are only wanting to see big versions of things that aren't usually big. Have a look at the photo pool to see what other photos have been added to get an idea.

Show us what you've seen! Make sure it's big :)

I've been a pretty low-key admin but now that I've realised that the group has nearly reached 1000 pictures, I have decided to do a little bit of housework around here. I'm slowly starting to add tags to all photos so that you can sort them a bit more easily. For example, if you are specifically looking for "big cows" then you should be able to search the tags for photos of big cows in the group. The same thing if you are looking for "big objects" or "big guys" and so on.

So far, some of the tags that I am adding are -

"big cow"
"big guy"
"big man"
"big woman"
"big girl"
"big animal"
"big sea creature"
"big vehicle"
"big reptile"
"big fish"
"big religious"

There will be many more as I've only just started. Feel free to add your own if you want to. :)
