About Big Break Regional Shoreline
The water flowing past Big Break Regional Shoreline through the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers drains half of California's watershed, and creates the largest estuarine environment on Pacific shores. This "Inland Coast" is home to 70 species of birds, and provides valuable habitat for beavers, muskrats, and river otters.
