About Bid for Haiti

Welcome to Bid for Haiti!

These pages are being created with the specific purpose of raising as much money as we possibly can to help the people of Haiti, as they struggle with the aftermath of the recent earthquake.

To achieve this, we have contacted a wide range of artists, who have generously offered to donate their paintings, photographs, and many other types of art, to be auctioned by us to help raise as much as we can.

Throughout the next couple of weeks, we will upload photos, videos, etc. of each piece of art that has been donated to us.

Then, on Valentine’s weekend, we will hold an auction, selling all the artwork to raise money for one of the charities helping the Haitian people.

Please check back with us over the next couple of weeks, to view the artworks that will be available. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to bid for something, and know that you’ll also be helping people who are in great need at the moment.

The auction will be held in the Gresham Metropole Hotel, McCurtain Street in Cork on Sunday, 14 February – Valentine’s Day. Viewing and registration will take place from 11.00am and the auction will start at 3.00pm.

Cash and cheque payments will be accepted.
Cheques should be made out to GOAL.

All lots are to be collected on the day.
