About My Bicycle in Edinburgh

A Group where you can put a photo of your bike with details about it.

A permanent reminder with useful details that you can give to the police if it ever gets stolen - and posted on various web sites, ESPECIALLY www.flickr.com/groups/stolen-bicycles-in-edinburgh/

Useful things to note FRAME - size, make, colour, significant scratches/dents. WHEELS - size (it's on the tyre) steel/alloy rims, hubs, tyres. GEARS - number, type, make, levers etc. BRAKES - type, make, levers etc. OTHER - handlebars, stem, seatpost, saddle, pedals, chainset.

ALSO - Make a note of the frame NUMBER - it's there somewhere - usually underneath the bottom bracket (where the cranks attach), or by the back wheel axle or near where the seat post goes into the frame - DON'T POST IT HERE!
