04 Dec 11 - The group "Birmingham New Street Station" has come of age. Its aim is to capture the architecture, atmosphere and business of Birmingham New Street Station, England. PLEASE remember, flash photography is not allowed on the station platform, as it distracts train crew. The group needs an icon - if anyone has anything suitable, please let the admin know.

If there's no sign of the station or the area immediately around it in the photo, it will be removed.

About Birmingham New Street Station

Birmingham New Street, this is Birmingham New Street! The train now standing at platform 8A is the 1735 service to Lichfield...

For many. this station is key to their journey to and from work, or across the country whilst changing trains for business and leisure. This group will capture the atmosphere of this station - not just the trains, but the fabric, maybe the people (if they don't mind) too. Any vintage of this station is allowed, and hopefully the group will capture the old and the new as it sweeps in.
