About Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

A group for sharing photographs taken at Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. For the past few years, this UNESCO world heritage site has been struggling with regard to adequate availability of water owing to intermittent rainfall and politics. The world heritage status and future of the park continues to be uncertain and with it the future of thousands of birds, millions of insects and hundreds of animals for whom the park has been home for many decades, not to mention the park's amazing flora and many who depend on the park for their livelihoods.

This Flickr group aims to create a repository of images taken at this world famous park with the hope that the photographs showcased here will give the message that the park, with its magical ecosystem and wildlife, needs to be conserved.

Please post in this group images of nature taken in or around Keoladeo Ghana National Park, ensure they have proper descriptions. Do not images of nature taken elsewhere.
