About Best Western historicalVintage photos, postcards and other items such as soap bars, travel guides of Best Western motels from the association's founding in 1946 until the end of the "Gold Crown" era in 1993, when Best Western retired that long-running symbol in favor of its current symbol. Best Western images with the current logo are welcome, especially of long-running properties, but preference is of older images with either the original rope and border logo or the various renditions of the Gold Crown symbol from 1963 to 1993. |
