About Best of U.S. National ParksThis group is the definitive resource for the best U.S. National Park photos on Flickr. The pool is strictly moderated, ensuring only exceptional images are admitted. Please see the group rules for submission criteria. Links to group submissions are periodically posted to the group Twitter profile. "American Beauty - The National Parks" You don't need to go on exotic, foreign, safaris to find amazing nature photos. The U.S. is full of gorgeous natural landscapes and still contains some amazing wildlife. Our National Park system has been set up to preserve these treasures and allow individuals like you and I to witness the majesty first-hand. Now, there are many National Park groups, specific and general, but it seems to me that they are all very loose with their photo submissions. Yes, there are many photos to be had at these parks, but I'd like to see the best. I want to see the photos that would be used to advertise a park, or go on a postcard in the gift shop. I want to see artistic landscapes, wild perspectives and those elusive 'right place, right time' shots. Anyone can join, but all submissions to the group must be approved by admin. Be very picky about which photos you invite to the group, we want this to be a showcase for the best. We welcome any photos of landscapes, wildlife and even people enjoying the parks. This is not a group for snapshots or family photos. We want well composed, beautiful images.
