Pick five of your photos and have other vote which is the best of the bunch!

In this group, you only compete against yourself!

The Rules:

1. Post five photos as a NEW discussion topic. Do NOT post five photos in the group photo pool (or they will be removed)!

- you can choose whatever five photos you like as long as they are your own photos and contain no nudity.

- you may like to post in groups of themes, such as five portaits, five edited photos, five landscapes, five photos from your kid's birthday party etc. It's up to you!

- feel free to write a little description of the group of photos in your post - especially if they're part of a theme

- post your photos by going to the small photo under the "All Sizes" tab in each of your photo pages. Then copy and paste the HTML code (the second white box) into your post. This way people can click on each photo and go to your photo page.

2. After posting your five photos, you must vote for the best within five of the groups before you. So, for the five discussion threads before yours, look at each photo and pick your favourite.

3. For each of your favourites, copy and paste the following text (and link) into the comments section of their photo.

This photo is my favourite of your five photos!
From the <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/bestoffive/">best of five</a> group.

- you must also give a reason why you like the photo you voted for.

4. Once you have had five votes, post the winner to the photo pool.

- If there is a tie, you may repost the tied pictures as a new discussion thread, but you must then vote on five new groups of photos!

- Any photos posted in the photo pool that have not gone through (and won) the voting process described above will be removed from the pool.

NOTES:

When voting, please click on EACH picture of EACH of the threads you look at so that you actually go to see the full page of the photo. (Yes - this means that you will have to look at a total of 25 pictures.) Not only will you see the picture in a larger size, you will also see the title and any description that the person has added.

please include the word "discussion" in any thread that you start that is not a set of five photos.

please include "#__ - my five" in the title of your post of your five photos - the number of your post should follow the last numbered post (this will help people know which posts they should be voting on!)

make sure that at least five other sets of photos have been posted after yours before posting another set so that you don't have to vote on your own photos!
