The Administrator's Choice for the image to represent the group for the month of May is -

Admin will choose a new image off our front page once a month as a special Admins Choice, to showcase our front page.
As our turn over is slow due to the demands of the quality image to even be in the group, We may have to choose two off the same page at times through the year.

We are based along the Guidelines of "The Best of Australia" however we are concentrating on the Reflection Genre only"

To ensure that we know that the photos were actually "Australian" a description of the location of the image (where in Australia it was taken) will be required. The image should have a meaningful title NOT image numbers.
At the very least, the image should have a proper caption at the bottom of the image indicating its location in Australia.

As 89% of Australia Population lives close to the Sea and the rest close to waterways, (out of necessity) we encounter beautiful and sometimes awesome reflection as part of life.
Those of us who cannot help themselves, capture these amazing reflections, from the Cliffs of our shoreline bouncing of our waters to the eucalyptus reflected in the rain water.
This is the place to show your artwork.
We will be posting only the most Brilliant and Best Reflections

Rules

The most important is that the IMAGE must be reflections of Australia.
( This does not mean the sky or clouds above Australia, Even though we sometimes see the beautiful and glorious colours radiating from the sky reflected in our clear blue waters)

The image should be a sharp and concise reflection of our country.

No. Nudity or Pornography this is a family group and you will be banned if you try to post these.

No abusive language or swearing when commenting or posting your own art.

Work by the old saying that if you can't say something nice or constructive, DON"T say anything

Do not submit photo's of friends or selves in mirrors.

for reflections off metal or glass ensure that it is a good clear reflection worthy of the best.

Clearly Title All shots submitted and remove file numbers if Pos. add, a note about the pic. even some of that technical stuff is interesting to some.

Try and make it interesting by commenting on postings preceding your to keep the group interest active.

Do not hesitate to use the discussion streams

Suggestions will be taken on board by the administration so speak up.

Administration reserves the right to expand on or change these rules as they see fit



PLEASE DO NOT POST PERSONAL PORTRAITS, BABIES, BIRDS, PETS, PORTRAIT OF ANIMALS, FLOWERS, MUSHROOMS, INSECTS (incl Spiders) etc. unless they are part of the whole scene and unique to Australia - something that people that come to Australia will not want to miss.
