About Beside the seaside, besides the sea ...
The great British seaside resort presents almost infinite possibilities to the photographer. This group is a challenge to document the many aspects of the seaside - normal, wierd or otherwise.
Looking through my photos for stuff that might be appropriate for Flickr I came across a number that are based on a trip to Bournemouth last year. Well, summer is approaching but the seaside resort deserves attention throughout the year.
I have focused on the British seaside resort. This is because I'm not looking for stunning seascapes from tropical islands, rather good old, traditional places (which in the UK means cold).
But don't worry - this is not restricted to photos from the UK. Anyone can join in; you just have to catch the spirit!
