About Bench Portraits Project 2009

Hi, I'm taking a Photography module at university, and would like to draw inspiration from anyone else who has photographed in and around benches!

The famous work that I've looked at surrounding benches has been vast, and here are some of my favourites (name, year bench photo was taken and the place it was taken)

Scianna 2003 Brazil
Mccurry 2001 Tibet
Erwitt 1990 England
Stock 1980 France

I know there are many more to see, please help me :)

If you know anything LOCAL to yourself (projects), or YOU like to photograph benches and the environment around them, then do not hesitate to request and send the images [if you would like to be a part of this project- around the world hopefully!]

This is specifically about benches...!
